Dear All
 
Jon Pugh - the student sound-recordist who was 'recording' our Mahler 9 concert in March, has contacted me today to say that the recording did not come out at all.  Although it was a wasted effort - on his part in particular, he required the recording as he is in the final year of his course, it has cost us nothing - just the opportunity to have a recording of what I think was a fabulous performance of a remarkable piece.  Shame.
