Review
Although the local papers no longer review any of our concerts and rarely even include them in their "what's on" listings, our January concert was reviewed in the May/June issue of Musical Opinion. It is very complimentary and I attach a copy.

Season Tickets
You will be aware that the number of season tickets has been steadily increasing year by year. Last season it shot up by more than 30 to a record 285, and the coming season looks as if it will rise further. Even at this very early stage, we have over 200 confirmed season ticket orders for 2010/11.

It is quite a major job to try to juggle and accommodate everybody's wishes and send out some 1200 tickets to the correct people as part of dealing with our annual mailing list send-out to some 800 people. So Riet and I are aiming to get the season ticket situation for next season sorted out rather earlier than in previous years.

Therefore I am sending this message to all members that if you are likely to want season tickets, do it now. Don't leave it until September because if you do, you will have a very limited choice. Already we have a waiting list for the balcony (and we know that not everybody waiting will get their wishes); the block in front of the violins is full as well as most of the block in front of the cellos/basses.

You can let me know your wishes by email or telephone, but note that we will be away from 6 to 21 June and I shall not be able to be at the workshop. The earlier you reply, the better the seats you will get.
